A Private Writing & Spiritual Retreat on the Aegean

July 7 – 12 2026 | 5 Nights | Andros, Greece

Find Your Muse is a five-night privately curated retreat held on a beachfront sanctuary in one of the most luminous settings in the Mediterranean.

The Invitation

Held on a quiet stretch of coastline in Andros, Greece, this retreat integrates creative exploration with thoughtful spiritual inquiry.

Find Your Muse is a five-night privately curated retreat for writers, creative thinkers and spiritually curious minds seeking clarity, depth, and renewal.

All rooms overlook the sea.
All sessions unfold steps from the water.
All participants are here by intention.

Limited places. Held with care.

The Experience

Find your Muse includes:

  • Shared inspirational sessions led by both mentors
  • Afternoons kept intentionally free for solitude, writing, swimming or reading
  • Writing prompts and craft exploration
  • Guided reflection on inner voice and intuitive decision-making
  • One private creative consultation (in English or Greek)
  • One private spiritual consultation (in English, Greek or German)

This retreat is designed for:

  • Writers of all levels
  • Creatives navigating transition or a new chapter
  • Spiritually curious individuals who value intellectual rigor
  • Those who prefer privacy over spectacle
  • Those who appreciate discretion, beauty, and cultivated company
  • Those who value focused mornings and spacious afternoons

The Setting

You will stay in an elegant beachfront property overlooking the Aegean on the island of Andros. Secluded, yet within walking distance (approximately 1300 meters) of the picturesque village of Batsi, the location offers both privacy and access to cafés and evening strolls.

Andros is greener, quieter, and more architecturally refined than most Cycladic islands, offering cultivated beauty, maritime heritage, and walking paths; perfect for undisturbed focus and inspiration.

The Blue Flag sandy beach below the hotel property is naturally divided by rock formations into distinct areas:
  • A lively section with a beach bar offering light food, drinks, and music during peak hours
  • A quieter stretch suited for uninterrupted rest and reading
  • A more secluded far end traditionally used as an informal nudist area

Guests are free to choose their preferred atmosphere. The setting offers variety without intrusion – privacy when desired, energy when welcome, and always the presence of sea and horizon.

Getting there

Andros is accessible via ferry from Athens or Mykonos, with convenient connections from Athens International Airport and Mykonos Airport.

The Hosts

Experienced mentors devoted to your creative journey

Christina Mitropoulou

I am a writer, producer, and educator across film, television, theatre, and literature.

I am the founder of The Owl, an international development lab based in Athens, and Head of Development for the Athens Film Office, where I oversee creative strategy and production leadership. My work spans feature films, television series, theatre, poetry, and essays, with over sixty hours of produced television broadcast across Greece and Southeast Europe. I continue to develop international projects in the US, UK, and Europe.

I teach writing at university level and frequently speak at international festivals and industry forums. I am an alumna of Yale University and University of Oxford, and a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

My practice is grounded in disciplined creative work, meditation, yoga, and motherhood — which remains the most meaningful chapter of my life.

At this retreat, I combine craft, lived experience, and thoughtful guidance to support writers seeking clarity, depth and refinement in their creative work.

Maria Kritikou

For the past decade, I have been working in Swiss banking and insurance — navigating deadlines, numbers and the structured pace of professional life, while raising three sons in Lucerne.

I have always drawn from both the rational and the intuitive.

My path began with ancient languages: I received my BA in Sanskrit and Iranian Languages at SOAS (University of London), followed by further research in this field across the US, Iran and Germany.

Over the years, my quest for what lies beneath the surface found a different form: I trained as an intuitive guide and medium, in systemic constellation work at the Nelles Institute and in energetic sensitivity with Nicole Schwarz at the Seelenkompass Academy.

At this retreat,  I help guests access the muse that is waiting to speak through them.
